Who Should Join

You will fit in if

These describe the players we are looking for.

You want long, consequential stories over quick wins.
You can play a character honestly, including their flaws and fears.
You are happy to lose a scene if it makes a better story.
You keep in-character conflict in-character and treat people well out of it.
You respect the IC/OOC line without being asked twice.

This is not for you if

No hard feelings — we are just not the right server.

You are mainly here for PvP or to "win" interactions.
You expect arrests, raids, or rank to hand you control of a scene.
You refuse consequences for your character.
You intend to use OOC knowledge in-character.
You want a casual, low-stakes server with no standards.

What we expect

The Mindset

More than any skill, we are looking for the right attitude: build stories with people, not against them. Come in curious, patient, and willing to let the world push back on your character.

New to hard RP?

That is fine. Craft can be learned, and people here are glad to help. Start by reading How We Play and the standards, then pick a low-pressure civilian role to find your feet.

Steps to Join

Six steps from nothing to your first scene.

1Create your accountSign in to the platform to create your account. This is your out-of-character identity on the site.
2Create a characterBuild your first character — a distinct in-character person with a name, history, and motivation.
3Read the OOC standardsRead the Hard-RP Standards and the IC/OOC Separation rules. They are the entry requirement, not fine print.
4Apply to a faction or start civilian RPApply to a law-enforcement or other faction, or jump straight into civilian roleplay — you do not need a faction to begin.
5Join the community channelsConnect with the wider community for coordination, scheduling, and questions. Keep IC and OOC clearly separated.
6Get involved in public storylinesPull on an open thread, show up to a scene, and start building. The world is waiting for players who participate.

Once you're in

Get Involved

The world rewards participation. Read the open arcs on How We Play, introduce your character into a scene, and start pulling threads. If you have a story of your own in mind, propose it — the narrative team would rather help you run it than have you sit on it.
