To address the growing asymmetric threat in cyberspace, the Director has authorized the formation of a dedicated cyber intelligence center combining operations and analysis.
The San Andreas FBI Field Office today announced the establishment of a dedicated Strategic Center for Cyber Intelligence, consolidating the region's cyber investigative and analytic capabilities under a single operational command.
The new center brings together personnel from the Criminal, Cyber, Response, and Services Branch and the Directorate of Analysis, creating an integrated team capable of identifying, attributing, and disrupting hostile network activity targeting critical infrastructure across San Andreas.
"Our adversaries no longer recognize the line between physical and digital," the Director said in remarks to the workforce. "Neither can we. This center ensures that the moment an intrusion is detected, the same team that finds it can act on it."
The center will reach initial operating capability over the coming weeks and will coordinate closely with local, state, and federal partners.
